Dolly Parton’s Stampede
What a fun family show and great meal.
For the price of some of the other shows on the strip, you get to see an amazing show with a full meal included!
I don’t think there is a bad seat in the house. All seats have a perfect view of the arena and nothing seemed to have any obstructions. So I would not worry about which seats to choose.
We were in Section F row 5 and this was just about in the middle of the arena.
I also highly recommend purchasing tickets ahead of time. We booked our tickets for the Friday Night performance at 5:30 1 week in advance of our arrival. Shows do sell out during the summer months, and to ensure you have seats together, I recommend making advance reservations.
Cost: For regular Seating is $49.99 for adults and $29.99 for children 4-11
Premium seating – in the front rows is $54.99 and $34.00 for children 4-11
We had regular seats and they were just fine, but if you want closer seats, then you need to choose premium seats.
Arrive about 1 hour and 15 mins to 1 Hour 30 mins prior to your show time, so you can get a parking space, walk through the stable and see all the amazing horses on display, get your tickets, and walk into the pre-show.
*They do check your bags for weapons – so please leave them at home.
You can walk around the gift shop, and of course you might have to purchase your own stuffed horse to take home. Just like we did.
While in the gift shop, you can even see some of the characters in costume.
If you don’t want to browse the gift shop – take a seat in the pre-show area and enjoy a beverage prior to the show. The blue grass band was very entertaining.
I recommend purchasing the refillable boot for only $3. You could choose from flavored slushes, sodas and other non-alcoholic beverages.
About 15 mins prior to the show you are allowed into the arena. You are then seated in your row, there are not assigned seats, just a row and you just fill in.
Once you are seated, you are asked for your beverage of choice, water, tea or Lemonade. Then your servers get your beverage before bringing you a creamy vegetable soup (very good) and a cheddar biscuit.
Then the show starts. The lighting and horse riders are top notch. There is a completion between the North and the South sides and you get to cheer for the side you are seated on. But it is all for fun and the show does go through some of the history of America, including a beautiful Native American Scene with real Buffalo.
Once you are finished with your soup and biscuit, they start bringing out the small rotisserie chicken, slice of smoked pork, corn and potato wedge. Everything tasted very good and was hot, which is hard to do for that many people!
Throughout the show there are some of the competition between the North and the South, and even some audience members get to participate in some of the competition.
Before the show comes to an end, you are even brought dessert. A warm apple turn-over.
The ending of the show is very patriotic, with a song written and performed by Dolly (recorded of course) – but the lights, horses and show of American pride are amazing.

This show and dinner is well worth the price. The quality of the food was very good and the show is very entertaining and family friendly. I highly recommend this wonderful dinner show. If you have been to Dolly Parton’s Stampede, please comment below on your experience.
