OVERVIEW
This park is connected to Worlds of Fun, so it is super convenient to enjoy camping plus walk over to Worlds of Fun for the day. The park has very long and spacious pull through and back in RV spots. Not only are there 82 RV sites there are also 42 cabins you can also rent. The premise is very quiet, with the occasional road noise and the sounds of the amusement park during operating hours. The park is right off Interstate 435 on Parvin road and is very easy to get to.
POOL
Even though you could purchase tickets to Worlds of Fun and their water park, Oceans of Fun, you don’t have to spend extra money to enjoy the very nice pool. The Pool is located near the office and shower building. You can enjoy the pool from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
CAMPGROUND
The campground has 82 spots. 34 of the spots are pull through and the remainder are back in sites. All sites are full hooks, which include water, electric, sewer and cable. All sites are very long and offer your own trash can that is emptied every day, so you don’t even have to take your trash to the dumpster.
All spots are out in the open, with little to no shade.
SHOWER HOUSE
The showerhouse and bathrooms are located near the office and swimming pool. The showers were clean, but the shower curtains needed to be cleaned or changed.
LAUNDRY FACILITIES
There are also laundry facilities near the office as well. There is also a change machine if you require change to do your laundry.
CABINS
If you want quick access to Worlds of Fun and don’t own an RV, there are 42 cabins you can rent. Please check out their website for additional information.
PLAYGROUNDS
The playground is Worlds of Fun, so the campground does not offer a traditional playground.

WALKING/BIKING
The campground is a little hilly, but you can walk around the campground, and there is even a sidewalk in front of the cabins. Because it is right off the interstate and on a main road, there isn’t much to offer for walking or biking.
DUMP STATION
There is no dump station, because all spots are full hook ups.
SUMMARY
This is the perfect spot to camp for 1 or 2 nights while you enjoy Worlds of Fun. If you are not going to the park, it is a nice place, easily accessed from the interstate to use for the night as you pass through. The campground does not have much more to offer other than a very convenient place to stay next to Worlds of Fun. If you do stay in the RV park or Cabins, you do get to get into the park 15 minutes before it opens to the public. If you plan to enjoy Worlds of Fun, I would highly recommend staying at Worlds of Fun Village. The discounted tickets to the park and the nice facilities make this a nice campground to enjoy for a weekend having fun at Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun.
